Star Of The Week

Grace was star of the week at school. She brought in a picture board to show all the kids and lots of her favorite toys. She really is not shy at all. (as you can see in the following pics)

She even put on a dance for all her little friends!

Then I got to go eat lunch with Grace and her friends!

I am soooo proud of what a great little girl she is growing up to be!!!

Winter Storm

Although it may be snowing and cold out it sure is beautiful! I love nothing more than to get cozy in warm pajamas and drink some hot cocoa and watch the snow fall down. Did I mention the crackle from the fireplace in the background. he he. I know I am a dork. What's your excuse?

The Flu Epidemic

Sorry for the lack of posts. My Son and I have the flu. When we went to the doctors they prescribed a new drug called Tamiflu. DON'T TAKE IT. This drug is supposed to take care of your flu like symptoms. Well in our case it just induced vomiting. So it might just be the luck of the draw.

Turkey Anyone?

My husband and I went to Sam's Club and stocked up. The only problem was that our freezer was too full. So my husband thought it would be a good idea if we set our 15lb frozen turkey outside while we get things in order. The other problem was that he forgot about it and left it out all night. ( it was 20 below, so no problem there) This is what I found on the deck by the stairs. First thought, racoon??. Nope just our NINA.

I think she really enjoyed it. I am glad someone did.

Baking IS Fun!!!

Oh What A Mess!

Grace and I spent Saturday morning baking cookies. I think that we got more of the ingrediants on the floor and ourselves, but we sure had fun doing it!!!
